River Bank Daffodils

Help make the Frome Riverbank Bloom!

Last Autumn over 1,000 new daffodils were planted on the banks of our river, on the land managed by Frome Town Council (as you look from the main car park towards the Westway). This was paid for by donations, assisted by FTC and now in the late spring of 2021 they are flowering – and will every year of course.

Frome Lions Club are delighted to be supporting this initiative and are now launching an appeal for £1,000 to buy more bulbs – both daffodils and other bulbs – to plant in the Autumn of 2021 working alongside the FTC Rangers team.

So, if you want to help make this part of our town bloom for years to comer, why not chip in?

For example, £10 will buy 75 Daffodils, £20 (or six coffees) will buy 150.

Please note all monies donated to this appeal will be going to buy bulbs not to Frome Lions Club general funds.
