Tree of Remembrance

The Tree of Remembrance will be erected in front of Rook Lane Chapel, Bath St, Frome, on the week commencing 27th November

The Tree and the Lights on the Tree are there to help you remember your departed loved ones or memorable causes.

It is a simple matter of completing the form below and returning it to one of the Lions named below, your donation will be acknowledged, and the names will be listed on the memorial board at the entrance to Rook Lane Chapel.

Your donation will be used by the Lions Club in its Local Charitable Work

On Thursday the 30th November, commencing 6 p.m. there will be Carol Service  in front of Rook Lane Chapel, music by the Frome Town  Band, and a short Service of Dedication given by the Reverend Colin Horn when the Tree will be blessed.

A Festive occasion, but marking your gift through the dedication service and blessing.  Following the blessing the Lions ask that you join them in light refreshments of mince pies and mulled wine in a social gathering in front of the Tree. A chance to meet with friends and the Lions to talk about their activities and Charities.

When you fill the form in there is a section for you to complete so that the Lions (a Registered Charity) can claim a percentage of your donation back from the Taxman.  This together with your donation will help to swell our Charity Funds. (Please see the notes on the downloaded form as a guide to Gift Aid).
