Tree of Remembrance

The Tree of Remembrance in front of Rook Lane Chapel, Bath Street, will gain be erected in early December. With our thanks to NVB Architects.

Our chosen charity this year is – Fair Frome.

The Tree and the Lights on the Tree are there to help you remember your departed loved ones or memorable causes.

As in past years you will receive a card acknowledging your donation

Your donation will be used by the Lions Club of Frome to support Fair Frome in its distribution of food parcels to those families unduly impacted by the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are many families in the Frome area that are suffering with greatly reduced incomes during this crisis and it is the Lions Club of Frome’s hope that your donation(s) will ease their worries over the forthcoming festive season.

Again, due to the COVID-19 restrictions it will not be possible, this year, to hold the traditional Carol Service in front of Rook Lane Chapel as it is anticipated that the rule of no gatherings exceeding six in number will still apply. It is intended to record a short Service of Dedication given by the Reverend Colin Horne when the Tree will be blessed which we hope then to make available for you to view via the Lions Club of Frome website:
